FUTURE F1 TEAM DESIGN
Caranddriverthef1.com created a contest about F1 design. I participated and was among the finalists and the web contacted the winner and the four best works among the finalists to create the F1 Design Team. This is the link to present our Team.
— THE TEAM
Floren, Héctor, Tony and me.
— MY ROLE
EXTERIOR DESIGNER
The five members of the team had different professional skills: an architect, an illustrator, an engineer, a mechanic and me. We all published our progress on the caranddriver.com website. In addition, our followers could give feedback on the website and discuss our ideas and promote their own. We worked together with our news and their opinions, advice, etc. That’s how it worked during a year (2015 – 2016)

"Also, I want to give thanks to my F1 Future Team: Floren, Héctor, and Tony. Work with them has frankly been an unforgettable experience: we have worked together day and night during the development of this project, supporting, providing ideas, learning and above all enjoying our great passion: F1 and Design."

1ST PICTURE
Monza GP (Italy) 2003: was the fastest race celebrated in F1, lasted 1 hour, 14 min. and 109.838 seconds. This picture represents the last lap at Q3.
-The Pole reached was 1´20.963 min.
-The fastest lap took 1´21.832 min.
-The Máx. Speed is 372,6 km/h.
2ND PICTURE
A battle between two champions: Mikka Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher.
We wanted to represent a battle of our chosen driver in a competitive race. I knew about the battles of Mika and Michael and drew this battle on an amazing race track: Abu Dhabi.
I love the location, the race at night and the colours. A futuristic race for our future F1.
3TH PICTURE
Schumacher’s first win with Ferrari, in a very rainy race at the Montmeló GP, Spain, 1996. He led the race since lap 13 and won the race by over 45 seconds from the second finalist. From this race, he´s called the ‘rainmaster’. I wanted to portrait this wonderful race in a picture, with all the emotion a rain race gives.
This contest was divided into two parts. During the time I worked for caranddriverthef1.com in an internship in Graphic Design, I got the responsibility to designed the banner of this contest. I had to design an F1, giving an idea about how they could design a future f1 ti win this contest. The real banner is this: link.
The second part is my idea. I participated in this contest and developed a car able to drive with the minimum resistance to the air, based on a plane. The sketches were based on animals like birds and sharks with a fundamental role. At the final digital illustration, you can understand all my ideas in this future Formula One.
This F1 didn´t win, but was at the Top20, and was showed for the popular votation. After this contest, the directors of caranddriverthef1.com chosen the five best designs and contact us to create the Official Group of Future F1 Design.
